The XPS M1530 cost isn't that high either, you can get it for $999 starting and if you want a performance notebook that's where to go.If you want the Inspiron 1520, as Jerry said, go for the Vostro 1500. It's exactly the same as the Inspiron 1520. The Inspiron 15256 is thin by design because they knew they'd not have to cram a heat producing graphics card in there.
